Chris and I met at Church 8 and a half years ago, he was playing basketball and I was watching him ;) and a year later we were husband and wife. We have 5 amazing kids Christa is 11,Evan 6, Damien 5, Dominic 3 and Isabelle 15 months. I home-school them and I love it. That was not always the case, but that is another post. I want this blog to be a place where I can share what we are up to, and somewhere I can express my thoughts and values. This summer has gone by fast but I'm ready for fall. There are so many things to do. Getting ready for and school is just one of them. Fall is such a great time for canning, pie baking and cooking in the crockpot. We are going to the apple orchard later this month for a big bushel of apples to make apple butter,applesauce and apple pie filling for cannin. I will put up some recipes soon :)
